Katherine Marie Gaston, age 72, of Denver passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022.&nbsp;

She was born May 5, 1950, to Robert and Marie Shankin in Arizona.&nbsp; 
Katherine grew up and went to school in Coney Island, New York.&nbsp; She 
worked as a CNA.&nbsp;

She enjoyed her cat Chance, listening to music and surfing in her younger years.&nbsp;

Katherine is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Marty and Mary.&nbsp;

She is survived by her daughter, Jeana (Chuck) Johnson of Goodland, 
KS; son, Thomas Gaston of Denver, CO; 5 grandchildren, Christopher, 
Cory, Dyllon and Alexander Johnson and Renee Gomez.
