Garden City- Frank Froese, 57, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023, after a long battle with sickness, surrounded by his family at his home in Finney County. He was born on June 6, 1966 in Cuauhtemoc, Mexico to Peter & Helena (Harms) Froese. He married Sara Froese on August 24, 1986 in Cuauhtemoc, Mexico.
Frank grew up in Mexico and started working in both Mexico and the United States before moving to the states for good in 1993. He worked as a farmer and at an irrigation company before starting GSPF Irrigation Service in 2010 which he turned into a successful business. In 2015 he fulfilled his lifelong dream of buying a family farm in Finney County. He attended Garden Valley Church in Garden City. Frank enjoyed his work, building and repairing geardrives, and working on his farm. The running joke in the farming community was that if Mr. Froese had started cutting his alfalfa, it was going to rain. Grilling, traveling and visiting with family and friends were some of his favorite things to do. Another thing that Frank truly enjoyed was giving to people; he would give of his time and his resources and he never expected anything in return. Frank was a friend to everyone.
He is survived by his Wife- Sara Froese, and their 5 Children - Lisa, her husband Jake Froese, their 3 children, Jordan, Zoey, and Lydia of Garden City, Helena, her husband Abe Hamm, their 4 boys, Gage, Wesson, Cooper, and Barrett of Garden City, Margaret, her husband Dennis Goertzen, their 2 children, Josephine and Malachi of Copeland, Frankie Froese of Garden City, Anny Froese of Garden City, Mother- Helena Froese of Mexico, 3 Brothers- John Froese of Mexico, Abraham Froese of Canada and Jacob Froese of Mexico and Sister- Tina Hamm of Sublette.
