Speed, KS resident, LeRoy Smith passed away Monday, December 18, 2023 at the Logan Manor Nursing Home in Logan at the age of 90.

LeRoy was born February 21, 1933 in Bogue, KS the son of Lonnie L. and Beryl B. (Snyder) Smith. &nbsp;He was a Heavy Machine Operator for both the State and County.

He was united in marriage to Ollie I. Albright on December 25, 1956 in Phillipsburg. &nbsp;She preceded him in death on May 27, 2012.

Survivors include his brothers Bob Smith and wife Karen of Norton, KS, Rex Smith and wife Ora of Longview, WA, and Stanley Smith of Logan, KS; sisters Lucille Smith and husband Lowell of Randle, WA and Kaye Ferrer and husband Vincent of Arkansas City, KS; along with many nieces and nephews.

Cremation was planned. &nbsp;A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
