Cecelia Charollette Bird

Cecelia Charollette Bird was born on June 24, 1940, in Grainfield, KS, to John C and Myrtle M. (Bartop) Schmidt, she passed away on March 6, 2023, at Gove County Medical Center at the age of 82. 

Cecelia was united in marriage to Eldon Bird on December 9, 1957, in Salina, KS. and enjoyed 62 of marriage up until Eldon passed away on October 20, 2020. To this union, they had two sons, Gregory and Mitchell Bird.

Cecelia liked to cook, bake, sew, crochet, read books, embroidery, and collect antiques. For 25 years Cecelia helped own and operate the grocery store "Quinter Superette" in Quinter, KS. 

She is survived by two sons, Gregory and Mitchell Bird, Quinter, KS; and sister Ruth Goff, Ulysses, KS.

Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Gloria Fellhoelter and Leona Tuttle.
