Judy Lynn Morgan, 77, La Crosse, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.

Judy was born November 3, 1945, in Ellsworth, Kansas, the daughter of Everett and Alice (Galliart) Steinle.  She was a resident of Rush County, Kansas, for 50-plus years.  She was a 1963 graduate of Dighton High School, Dighton, Kansas, and graduated from Cosmetology School in Hays, Kansas, as a cosmetologist.

Judy owned and operated House of Beauty Salon, La Crosse, Kansas, for more than 50 years.  She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, and a former member of the Lions Club, both of La Crosse, Kansas.

Judy loved attending as many of her grandchildren’s sporting events as she could.  She had a passion for bowling, and enjoyed participating in the church bible study group.

She married Lonnie Morgan. To this union, two sons were born, Steven and Heath.  Judy and Lonnie later divorced.

Survivors include:  two sons, Steven Morgan (Jolene), La Crosse, Kansas, Heath Morgan (Michelle), La Crosse, Kansas; three grandchildren, Taylor Morgan (Zach Stejskal), Hunter Morgan, and Madison Morgan; two brothers, Jay Steinle (Kathy), Bullhead City, Arizona, Kent Borell (Carrie), Dighton, Kansas; and one sister, Kay Conrardy, Dodge City, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Steinle; and her mother and step father, Alice and Gene Borell.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse, Kansas, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Church visitation will be Monday, April 24, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. to 9:50 P.M. at the First Lutheran Church, La Crosse, Kansas.

Funeral service will be Monday, April 24, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at the First Lutheran Church, La Crosse, Kansas, with Pastor Phyllis Burdge officiating.

Interment will be Monday, April 24, 2023, at 1:30 P.M. in the Dorrance City Cemetery, Dorrance, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to the First Lutheran Church, La Crosse, Kansas.
