Linda K. Beachel, 73, passed away on July 20, 2023, in Oberlin, Kansas. Linda was born on January 20, 1950, to John Calvin and Barbara Jean (Corbin) Kappers in Colby, Kansas.

Linda was raised in Oberlin and went to Oberlin High School.

After high school she bartended and cooked for many years. Linda enjoyed spending time at the lake, camping, fishing, and playing bingo. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

On March 1, 1985, Linda married Ronyie Beachel in Oberlin, Kansas.

Linda is survived by her husband Ronyie and her children: Kay (Jim) Betts; Brenda Van Pelt; Toby Beachel; Aaron Beachel; Corey Beachel; Colleen Bringewatt; Rebecca Beachel; and Gatlin Beachel; her siblings: Carolyn (Pete) Morales; Debby Jernigan; Gary King; and Ricky (Beth) King and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, son Mike Beachel and niece JoEllen King.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in the Norcatur Cemetery in Norcatur, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and may be sent in care of Pauls Funeral Home, 121 N. Penn Ave, Oberlin, Kansas, KS 67749.
