Clarissa Ann (Leiker) Augustine, 81, of Hays passed away at her home on Monday, Nov. 15, 2022.
She was born May 3, 1941, in Hays to Edmund F. and Pearl (Kippes) Leiker.
Ann married Wayne J. Augustine on March 31, 1962, in Hays. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2014.
She was a hairdresser in Hays for over 40 years and worked at Dillons in Topeka for 10 years. Ann grew up in Hays, was a 1959 graduate of Hays High School and attended the Salina Cosmetology School. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children, Don Augustine and wife, Kimberly, Russell; Darin Augustine and wife, Jill, Wichita; Dianne Lindeman and husband, Dean, Gilbert Ariz.; her grandchildren, Nick Augustine; Alexis, Tristan, Samatha, Aidan and Mallory Lindeman; and Chloe Augustine; her great-grandson, Bentley Augustine; her sisters, Hazel Roberts, Wheatland, Wyo.; Ruth Howard, Hutchinson; and Carol Zedaker, Wheatland, Wyo.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Keith Alan Augustine; her granddaughter, Taylor Elizabeth Augustine; and her twin great-granddaughters, Hadley and Presley Augustine.
The memorial service will be in spring 2023, and the inurnment will be at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Hays.
