Lee Etta Elmore

Lee Etta Elmore, 78, passed away May 17, 2022, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

She was born September 26, 1943, in Lyons, the daughter of Denzil and Marion Stroud Frantz.

A Larned resident for 32 years, she was a Mental Health Technician at Larned State Hospital. She was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed doing needlework: sewing, quilting and cross stich, and especially loved making quilts for her grandbabies.  She also loved bowling and gardening.

On December 31, 1991, she married Daniel Elmore at Larned; he survives.

Other survivors include: 8 children, Marissa (Bobby) Janzen, Kechi, KS, Joseph Trimble, Rozel, Christopher Trimble, Muskogee, OK, Georgia (Wayne) Furrh, Muskogee, Leslie (Troy) Davis, Kinsley, Chris (Shannon) Elmore, Hoisington, Shaun (Megan) Elmore, Hoisington, Sahra (Tony) Valencia, Buckeye, AZ; brother, William “Bill” Frantz, Lawrence; sister, Denise Gustafson, Copperas Cove, TX; twenty-seven grandchildren thirty-six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
