
JOHNSON COUNTY —Lightning may be responsible for a house fire in Johnson County.
Just after 5:30a.m. Wednesday, firefighters from Olathe and Lenexa battled a house fire at 2 Pasadena Drive, according to a social media report from Olathe Fire Department.
Neighbors reported they heard a “lightning crack” and then saw flames from the roof of the home.
Two people were displaced. The damage is significant. Investigators are working to confirm the cause. The Red Cross is assisting. There were no injuries reported.
