Zelda Marie Wallgren, 92, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on January 2, 2024 and she was born July 8, 1931 in Naponee, Nebraska to Blanche (Bradley) Bushnell.
Zelda as a child lived in Kansas, Idaho, and Utah, returning to Speed, Kansas at age 10. She attended schools in Speed and Phillipsburg.
She was married to Leonard Wallgren on June 5, 1948, and they were married for 62 years. They lived, worked, and raised their family in Logan, KS until 1980 when they moved to Colorado Springs, CO. Zelda and Leonard retired in 2000, moving to Sun City, AZ.
She is survived by two children, Marla (Kent) Lang of Scottsdale, AZ and Eric Wallgren of Palm Springs, CA, 2 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Zelda enjoyed reading, playing cards, traveling, and being outside visiting with family and friends. She will be remembered as a truly kind and caring person. She will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched.
A graveside service will be held on May 28, 2024 at 11 am at Pleasant View Cemetery in Logan, Kansas.
