On the evening of November 25, 2022, Ron Haremza of Colby passed away at the age of 55.
Ron was born to Lester and Noveline (Zeller) Haremza on July 25, 1967.
Ron began farming with his dad at a very young age, before starting his
own operation after high school.
In 1993, he married Kim Heilman, who were later divorced. Ron and his
two boys, Teryn and Tayber, made their home on the original Haremza
farmstead.
Ron was a person that loved living life to the fullest. He believed in
working hard and playing hard. He loved to go fishing and bird hunting
with his two dogs. He was a brilliant man that could do or build
anything he set his mind to. He was a respected farmer that created a
large farming operation from humble beginnings. Ron was known for his
sense of humor, orneriness, and honesty.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Lester, and his son, Teryn. He
is survived by his son, Tayber; his mother, Noveline; his sister, Velma;
his brother in-law, Travis; his nephew, Tanner, and many other family
and friends.
A graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 2,
2022, at Beulah Cemetery, Colby. Memorials may be made to the Ronald
Haremza Memorial Fund and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391,
Colby, KS 67701.
