Eiko Konno Bosserman, Golden Valley, Arizona

January 28, 1930 - May 18, 2023

Eiko Konna Bosserman was born the second daughter of Chotaro and Haru Konno on January 28, 1930 in Fukushima Prefecture in Japan.  She left this world on May 18, 2023 in Golden Valley, AZ.

On March 20, 1957, Eiko married Ben Bosserman at the American Embassy in Tokyo, Japan.  In 1964 she was granted citizenship into the United States.

In Japan, Eiko was a trained midwife.  Upon her arrival in the U.S., she worked a civilian job until she and Ben retired and moved to Arizona. While living in the Kingman area, she and Ben were very active in the local VFW chapter and enjoyed exploring the southwest, collecting rocks/stones and turning them into jewelry.

Eiko was very proud of her Japanese heritage.  She was raised Buddhist and remained faithful to her teachings.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ben Bosserman (2008).  

She is survived by her brother-in-law John Bosserman, Oakley; nephews D.J. Bosserman (Joyce), Oakley, and Troy Bosserman (Laura), Oakley; great-niece/nephews Ashley Dinkel (Brandon), Hill City, KS; Clayton Bosserman (Ashley), Oakley, KS; Jonothan Bosserman (Nastasja), Oklahoma City, OK; great-great-nieces/nephews Conner Dinkel, Cade Dinkel, Cholee Dinkel, Citori Bosserman, Cauy Bosserman and Hattie Bosserman, along with extended family in Japan.

Private services were held in Oakley and in Japan.
