Smith Center – Bernadine Duntz, 96, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024, at her home in Smith Center, Kansas.

Bernadine was born on January 31, 1928, in the Hawkeye township, Osborne County, KS, the daughter of Joseph and Stella (Johnson) Martin. &nbsp;On August 15, 1951, she married Lyle Victor Duntz in Sylvia, KS.&nbsp;She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lyle, five brothers, Ormal, Kenneth, Leland, Bernard, and Eldon Martin&nbsp;and three sisters, Fleta Collicot, Letha Barret and Marilyn Nichols.

Bernadine is survived by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel,&nbsp;113 S. Madison St., Smith Center&nbsp;with Pastor Jeremy Carr officiating.&nbsp; Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral chapel. &nbsp;The burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Smith Center, KS. Memorials may be given to the Smith County Volunteer Fire Department and/or Smith Center Church of the Nazarene and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.&nbsp; &nbsp;
