Patricia Nadyne (O’Toole) Douglas passed away in her home of natural causes on July 13, 2023 at the age of 82. She was born June 4, 1941 in the Norton County Hospital to Paul and Erma O’Toole.

She graduated from the Norton Schools in 1960 and was wed at the Norton Christian Church to Lonnie Raymond Douglas on her birthday in 1961. They attended Manhattan Christian College and enjoyed ministry, living in several locations. They were blessed with three children: Patrick (Julie) Douglas of Norton, Kevin Douglas of Paola, KS and Christen Skrdlant of Norton and was further blessed with nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Patricia enjoyed studying the bible, sewing, flowers, and visits from family, friends, and grandpups. She always looked forward to visits from church elders and deacons, especially the ornery ones.

Patricia was survived by her brother, Paul Gene O’Toole of Wisconsin, her children, grandchildren, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at the Norton Christian Church. Burial will follow in the Norton Cemetery. The visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m .Monday, July 17 at the funeral home.
