Carl Zink, 87, passed from his earthly life on August 1, 2022. He was born September 26, 1934, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of the late Orval and Mary (Bontrager) Zink.
Carl graduated from Kansas State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He served in the United States Army.
On December 31, 1991, he married Mary Ellen (Herndon) Walk and celebrated 30 years of marriage this past year. They made their home in Garden City, Kansas until moving to Mustang, Oklahoma to be near grandchildren.
Carl is survived by his wife Mary, children Shelly Pitts (Lynn), Greg Zink (Donna), Carol Zink (Kathy Garcia), Dana Barnes (Rocky), and Dax Walk (Audra), brother O.J. Zink (Linda), seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by is parents, his sister Natalie (Zink) Zook, and brother Robert Zink.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Leoti Cemetery with Pastor Don Williams presiding.
