Mary Louise Erlich, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on December 20, 1939, in Claflin, Kansas, to Walter and Anna (Heinz) Kaiser.
After raising her family in Great Bend, Kansas, Mary moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. She spent her working years as a caregiver for the elderly in retirement communities. Mary Lou enjoyed playing cards, reading, completing her crafts, and especially spending time with her family.
Survivors include: a son, Randall Drees of Hoisington; three daughters, Carma (Rick) Strayer of Hoisington, Kelly Anthony of Calhan, Colorado, and Christy Harmon of Colorado Springs, Colorado; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jack Kaiser of Pratt. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Royce, Melvin, and Jerry Kaiser; and a sister, Carmen Kaiser.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Claflin, Kansas, with Father Terrance Klein presiding.
Memorials have been designated to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
