Kathryn Sue Murray, 66, passed away February 7, 2024 at Hays Medical Center, Hays.

She was born June 29, 1957 in Fort Polk, Louisiana, the daughter of Virgil A. Murray and Setsu Segawa Rodriguez.

Aside from living &nbsp;ten years in California, and seven years in Oregon, she was a lifetime Larned resident. &nbsp;She was graduate of Larned High School and worked at Larned State Hospital as a MHDD Tech. She was an amazing artist and liked to paint and draw. She loved cats, horses, taking care of animals, and feeding her birds and squirrels.

Survivors include: sister, Pam Murray-Perez, Great Bend; three brothers, Michael Murray, Havasu, Arizona, David Murray, Andy Murray, both of California; uncle, Dan Murray, Great Bend; nephew, Jared Surdam, Washington; niece, Mackenzie Perez, Great Bend; and two cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.

Memorials may be given to the Kathryn Murray Memorial Fund in care of Beckwith Mortuary, PO Box 477, Larned, Kansas 67550.&nbsp;
