William Thomas "Tommy" Sibley passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
Tommy was born on November 4th, 2001, in Kingman, AZ. He was the oldest of three children. He attended Goodland High School graduating in 2020, and went on to Northwest Kansas Technical College. He completed the Auto Body Technology program in 2022. He was a confirmed Catholic at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Tommy was a collector, he started young with: baseball cards, football cards, sticker's, YuGiOh cards, and his Aunt Kari's Garbage Pail Kids cards. In Kansas he collected hugs and fond memories from ice skating to BBQing with Grandpa at the grill. Grandma made him no stranger to cooking sweet and savory. His divinity was the perfect consistency, and his chili will always be remembered as the hottest.
His love of collecting grew into an entrepreneurial soul. He made his own forge when he wanted to make a knife, started brewing his own beer and wine, and more recently he could be found on Saturdays at the Farmers Market selling his homemade soap and vegetables from the garden. He loved growing and trying different kinds of hot peppers, most recently the Carolina Reaper.
He loved metal music and attended several concerts with his mom. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed exploring different hiking trails when visiting family in Texas. He enjoyed spending time with brothers and mom watching movies, shopping, and playing video games.
When Tommy was younger and still in Alaska, he and his family rescued a Pitbull Roxy whom he loved very much. Later in life when in Kansas he was a great companion to his dog Ranger.
Tommy’s surviving family includes his Grandparents Gary and Cynthia Kickler, his Mother Kori Sibley, two Brothers Thor and Heath Sibley, an Aunt Kari Sabin, and Cousins Devin, Zoey, and Brok Sabin.
Tommy was preceded in death by his Great Grandfather Floyd Owens, and Aunt Heather Sibley.
