Duane Edwin Riedel left us to join his heavenly family on Aug. 11, 2023. Duane will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him, and his legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of his loved ones.

To honor Duane's memory, a celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023, with a Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Ellis, with inurnment following at the Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery in Wakeeney. Duane’s family will gather in the church vestibule to greet guests at 12:30 p.m. Friends, along with family, are invited to attend to remember Duane and celebrate his life.

Memorial contributions in Duane’s honor are to be designated at a later date and may be made payable to Bernita Augustine, 708 N. Third St., Wakeeney, KS 67672.
