Clayton Turman

Clayton Turman, 57, of Norton, KS passed away March 31, 2023, at the Norton County Hospital. He was born October 9, 1965, in Oakley, KS to Earl and Carol (Clinkenbeard) Turman.

Clayton attended Hinkley High School in Aurora, CO and later received his GED. He worked as a truck driver for Wesco feed. Clayton loved inappropriate poems and crafts and enjoyed yard work and collecting pigs. Most of all he loved spoiling Levi and playing chess with him and he loved his pugs and Juno.

Clayton was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Amanda Turman and siblings, Larry “Woody” Wood and Lori Wood-Pinzenscham. He is survived by his son, Calob Turman of Norton, KS; siblings, Daina (Jimmy) Knutson of Loveland, CO, Darroll (Jenny) Wood of Byers, CO, Brad (Alaina) Smith of Las Angeles, CA, Deena Breeden of Greeley, CO, and Shawn Schock of Cheyenne, WY; grandchildren, Levi “Boog” and Elijah, and his ex-wife, Belinda Turman.

Cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm April 20th, in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Almena, KS.
