Phillipsburg resident, Virginia A. Hopson, passed away Sept. 4, 2024 at her home in rural Phillipsburg at the age of 91. She was born Sept. 23, 1932 in Agra, the daughter of James Clark & Evelyn Ruth (Cook) Munyon.
Survivors include her sons, Clark of Phillipsburg & Mark of Norton; her daughters, Kay McCoy of Sabetha & Sally Brandon of Phillipsburg; 11 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 9 at 10:30 a.m. in the First Christian Church with Pastor LeRoy Herder officiating. The service will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page. Burial will follow in the Iowa Union Cemetery.
The casket will be closed. Friends may sign the book from 5:00 to 9:00 Saturday & noon to 9:00 Sunday at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 3:00 to 4:00 Sunday afternoon.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church or Hospice Services.
