Drew Edward Craghead

JETMORE — Drew Edward Craghead, 17, passed away July 1, 2023, in Larned.

He was born July 24, 2005, in Reno, Nevada; the son of Kent and Erika Sweany Craghead. A lifetime area resident, he was a 2023 graduate from Hodgeman County High School and worked at Arensman Services in Kinsley.

He was of the Christian faith; was a member of the Community Life Group, Jetmore,  Hodgeman County 4-H, FFA, Hodgeman County Trap Shooters and various Facebook truck groups.

Survivors include; his parents, Kent and Erika Craghead, Jetmore; two brothers, Tyler Craghead and Jacob Craghead, both of the home, Jetmore; maternal grandmother, Alice Sweany, Jetmore and paternal grandfather, Darrel (Pauline) Craghead, Jetmore.

He was preceded in death by; maternal grandfather, Jim Sweany and paternal grandmother, Lola Craghead.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 6 at the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore with Pastor Mark Durham and Pastor Michael Perrotti presiding.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 5 at Beckwith Funeral Home, Jetmore. Burial will be in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.
