Dennis Dinkel, age 67, passed away on
Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at the Wheatridge Park Care Center in
Liberal, Kansas, surrounded by his children. He was born December 12,
1954, in Hays, Kansas, to Leo and Odellia “Tillie” Schamberger Dinkel.
He was an auto mechanic.
Dennis attended school in Gove County, graduating from Quinter High
School in 1971. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He was a former
member of the Knights of Columbus.
Dennis was a lifelong sports fan, watching every sporting event he
could, particularly the KC Royals, KC Chiefs, and KU Basketball. He
especially enjoyed taking his grandchildren to Disney World.
Survivors include four children, Rachel (Dinkel) See and husband
David, Scott City, KS, Anthony Dinkel and wife Julia, Liberal, KS,
Leatte (Dinkel) Helsel and husband Brandt, Liberal, KS; Michael Dinkel
and his wife, Monica, Grand Island, NE, and eight grandchildren; Jax,
Andrew, Allison, Courtney, Ella, Kenadi, Hazel, and little Logan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Steven Dinkel.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022, at the Scott County Cemetery with Fr. Don Bedore presiding.

Dennis’s family will be receiving friends on Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
