Tamri Nannette (Dack) Fredrickson, 63, passed away on September 22, 2023 at her home in Selden, Kansas surrounded by her family and loved ones. Tammy was born on April 22, 1960 to Richard and Karen (Barratt) Dack in McCook, Nebraska.

Tammy was raised in rural McCook and graduated from McCook High School in 1978. After high school, Tammy attended McCook Community College and graduated in 1980.

On December 7, 1985 she married the love of her life, Jim Fredrickson in McCook, Nebraska. They made their home in rural Selden, Kansas on the family farm. To this union they were blessed with two daughters, Sunnie Jo and Jessica, and "adopted daughter," Sharee Dempewolf.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Tammy had one of the most generous and caring hearts and immense faith in the Lord.

In 1997 she started her own insurance agency, Fredrickson Insurance, where she built a successful business by giving great customer service. Tammy was the ultimate example to her daughters by running a business, attending all her kids’ activities and also her nieces’ and nephews’ activities and still manage the Mom role at home by having a hot meal on the table every evening and spending quality time with her husband and kids.

Tammy was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker football fan and spent many Saturdays cheering on the team in Lincoln, Nebraska. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, spending family time at her lake cabin, and snorkeling on the beach in Mexico. Her most favorite and humble role was being a grandma to two precious boys. They spent lots of time going on adventures and making unforgettable memories.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sunnie Jo and Cody Minium of Selden, Kansas, and Jessica and Andrew Mueller of Lakewood, Colorado; two sisters and their husbands, Terri and Mike Skolout, and Kathy and Todd Lichty, all of McCook, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Harold Pearson, of McCook, Nebraska; two sisters-in-law and their husbands, Joline and Doug Fuhr, and Jill and Shane Boultinghouse, all of Great Bend, Kansas; and the light of her life, her twin grandsons, Archer James and Krayton Lee Minium; and her beloved nieces and nephews; and her companion, Bernie Koerperich, of Selden, Kansas; and her "adopted daughter," Sharee Dempewolf of Oberlin, Kansas.

Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Fredrickson; her parents, Richard and Karen Dack; her mother and father-in-law, Richard and Phyllis Fredrickson; grandparents, Gerald and Ida Barratt, John and Francis Dack; and her sister, Lori Dack-Pearson.

Funeral services will be held on September 28, 2023 at the Gateway Event Center in Oberlin, Kansas at 10:00 am. Burial will be done at a private ceremony at a later time at the Selden Cemetery.
