Carolyn Gilson, 66, of Colby, died Monday, March 18, 2024, at home. She was born September 8th, 1957 in Washington D.C, to Arnold and Sue (Condon) Davis.

She graduated from Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, CA in 1975. She then attended Chico State University in Chico, CA. On November 30, 1985 Carolyn and Gary were united in marriage, and to this union one child was born: Brady. She attended Community College of Denver, in Denver, CO for nursing school and spent most of her LPN career working for Kaiser. Carolyn enjoyed making pottery, crafting, traveling, spoiling her two grandsons, and being with friends and family.

She is survived by her son Brady (Jessica) Gilson of Colby; parents, Arnold and Sue Davis, of Tempe, AZ; siblings Karen (Nancy) Davis, Craig (Melanie) Davis, and Ken Davis; two grandchildren, Colton and Clay Gilson; one nephew, Nic Valverde and many friends and extended family.

Carolyn chose cremation, a small service will be held at a later date with location to be determined. Memorials may be made to Ho-Bo Care Boxer Rescue in Denver, CO, sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
