OSBORNE – Virginia Louise Gantz age 78, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023, in Salina. She was born the daughter of Walter and Virginia (Schwendener) Cormack on Nov. 20, 1944, in Abilene.
She was a graduate of Osborne High School and was a retired secretary for the United Methodist Church in Osborne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Edward and brother Larry.
Survivors include her husband Robert of the home; a daughter Michele (Milton) Carlin of Wakefield; three sons Steve Gantz of Salina, Terry (Mary) Gantz of Concordia and Brad Gantz of Liberty, Mo.; grandchildren Braden and Caleb Gantz, Amelia (Ryan) Blackwood, Joel Carlin; great-grandchildren Audrey and Corbyn Blackwood; brothers Paul Cormack of Concordia, Stanley Cormack of Leavenworth; a sister Janet Revoyr of West View, Pa.; sister-in-law Mary Rogers of Hazelhurst, Ga.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 5 at Rentschler Family Mortuaries Osborne Chapel, 238 N. First St., Osborne, KS 67473.
The celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 6, at Osborne United Methodist Church, 105 N. Third St., Osborne, KS 67473.
Her final resting place will be in Osborne Cemetery at the corner of Highway 24 and North 11th, Osborne, KS 67473.
