WINGATE, N.C. - The Fort Hays State baseball team moved up two spots to No. 20 in the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Division II Poll, released Wednesday .
The Tigers secured 121 points in the voting process, up 34 points from last week when FHSU was slotted 22nd in the rankings.
The league-leading Tigers are one of two MIAA teams in this week's NCBWA Top 25, with Central Missouri holding on to the No. 2 spot. Central Oklahoma is the only other league rival mentioned in the poll, with the Bronchos receiving votes for the second week in a row.
With 14 games remaining on the conference schedule, Fort Hays State will return to Larks Park this weekend to host Northeastern State. First pitch is set for 5 p.m. on Friday, 3 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday.
