Kathleen A (Rudolph) Moore, age 71, passed away on April 18, 2024 in Scott City, Kansas. She was born November 28, 1952, to Lowell L and Patricia L (Hollingsworth) Rudolph.
Kathleen spent her early life on the family farm northwest of Scott City on Ladder Creek. She attended District 5 Rudolph School, finishing her primary schooling at Beaver Flats School. Kathleen attended and graduated from Scott Community High School. Her advanced schooling consisted of Cosmetology school. She was also a licensed insurance salesperson. As her last major schooling, she earned her certification as a Chiropractic Assistant.
In her younger years, she had three major passions. She loved ballet, beginning as a student of the Bess Taylor School of Dance. Kathleen was accepted to and attended Stephens College Perry Mansfield School and camp for theater and dance in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Following her time there, she studied under Mary Mayta in Colby, Kansas. She eventually taught ballet lessons in Scott City.
Her second passion was dancing. A Saturday night community dance was something she always looked forward to attending. Her third passion was horses. Her favorite horse was a palomino named Champagne, which she would ride to town to participate as a member of the El Quartelejo Saddle Club.
As a homemaker, she was incredibly talented in beautifying her homes, yards, and gardens. Kathleen had the ability to bring forth the beauty nature offered to its fullest extent.
Her husband, Tom Moore of Scott City, Kansas, survives Kathleen. Two daughters- Amy Nodine (Dwayne Byrd) of Brooks, Alberta Canada, and Holly Berland of Scott City, Kansas. Grandchildren: William (Mariah) Nodine of Lethbridge, Alberta Canada, Allyssa (Jordon) Scherger of Brooks, Alberta Canada, Kaitlin Berland of Scott City, Kansas, Anna (Caleb) Beer of Alexander, Manitoba Canada, Coty Ray Neitling of Scott City, Kansas. Great Grandsons: Evan, Devin, Aaron, and Roken. Her father, Lowell Rudolph of Scott City, Kansas. One sister, LuAnn (Jon) Buehler of Scott City, Kansas. Along with many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Her mother, Patricia L (Hollingsworth) Rudolph, precedes Kathleen in death.
A memorial service to celebrate Kathleen’s life will be at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the United Methodist Church, 412 South College Street, Scott City, Kansas with Fr. Don Martin presiding. Services will be live-streamed at www.priceandsons.com.
