Smith County resident, Zachary L. Lamont, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at the Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg at the age of 36.

Zachary was born August 27, 1986, in Phillipsburg the son of Curtis L. and Melissa A. (Parker) Lamont.

Survivors include his parents Curtis and Missy Lamont of Cedar, Kan.; brother Ethan Lamont and wife Jen of Nesbitt, Miss.; nephew Rhett; niece Ella; and significant other Misti Swank of Claudell.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 8 in the First St. John Lutheran Church in Kensington, with Pastor Dave Hutson officiating. &nbsp;Burial will follow in the Cedar Cemetery, Cedar.

Lamont will lie in state from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg. &nbsp;The casket will remain closed.

Memorial contributions will be determined.
