He was a carpenter and worked for different construction companies. Karl attended Queen of Holy Rosary in Overland Park. In his spare time he enjoyed spending his time with his wife and children, friends, fishing, being outdoors, photography (especially sunsets) and listening to music. Karl loved sports, especially, OU, playing cards and racing with his brother.
Karl was a loving husband and father; he had a kind heart and contagious laugh. He was charismatic, charming and his narrative ability was uncanny.

Survivors include his wife, Stacie; children, Kaison and Kamdyn; parents, Ralph and Patsy Holsch; brother, Kevin (Rebecca) Holsch; and nieces, Alahna and Ashtyn.
An education fund has been established for his children. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home.
