Clarinda M. “Cindy” Unrein, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on November 29, 1928, in Modoc, Kansas, the daughter of Alexander Jacob & Susanna Eva Klein Weber. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1953 moving from LaCrosse, Kansas, she was a restaurant owner & operator of Cindy’s Drive-In and then a bookkeeper for Hoover Electric.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Daughters Of Isabella, Altar Society, and Beta-Sigma-Phi Sorority all of Scott City, Kansas.
On June 21, 1949, she married Marvin H. Unrein in LaCrosse, Kansas. He passed away on February 1, 2007, in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors include her One Son - Terry & Sharon Unrein of Wichita, Kansas, Two Daughters - Beverly Pinnell of Nixa, Missouri, Kathryn Lowenthal of Scott City, Kansas, One Sister - Rosetta Tuzicka of Scott City, Kansas, Seven Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Her Parents, Husband, One Sister - Hedy Coughlin, Four Brothers - Marvin Weber, Loyd Weber, Elmer Weber, Everett Weber, and One Grandson - David Guhr.
Vigil services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas with Fr. Don Bedore presiding.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024, in the LaCrosse Cemetery in LaCrosse, Kansas pending weather conditions.
