Edward Eugene Aaron, age 66, of Goodland passed way Monday, May 2, 2022, at his home in Goodland.&nbsp;

Gene was born August 15, 1955, to L.C. and Rosa (Westmorland) Aaron in
 Lamar, Colorado.&nbsp; He grew up in Lamar and attended school in Bonham, 
Texas, and Goodland, Kansas.&nbsp; He worked as a farm hand and tree trimmer, 
he also spent time gardening and growing food for the Farmers Market.&nbsp; 
Gene was a kind compassionate person, always ready to lend a hand where 
needed.&nbsp; He enjoyed fishing, camping with his brothers and spending time
 with his nieces and nephews at the park, swimming pool and stores.&nbsp; He 
knew and loved the Lord and prayed for others suffering.&nbsp; His favorite 
saying was “I hope I’ve made a difference in the life of a child.”&nbsp;

Gene is preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Carol, Mary Alice and
 Lay Lynn; brothers, Larry Charles, Robert Donald and David Lee.&nbsp; &nbsp;

He is survived by his sisters, Janet Swartz of Goodland, KS, Julia 
(Bill) Mohrman of Hobart, NE, Lydia (Billy) Reed of Winnie, TX and Bicky
 Aaron of Lamar. CO.&nbsp;
