Dale Norman Schulze

Dale Norman Schulze, 74, of Norton, KS passed away April 20, 2023. He was born January 11, 1949, in Norton, KS to Leo C. and Alma E. (Wudtke) Schulze.

Dale grew up in Norton and graduated 8th grade from Farview Country School and was a 1967 Norton Community High School graduate. On August 10, 1969, in Norton, Dale married Rosalie L. Adrian. After high school, he helped father-in-law at the West Sale Barn. He also continued to help his father on the farm, moving his family to the farmstead in 1974 and continued farming there until his retirement. Dale also drove a school bus for USD 211 for over 30 years. He was active in FFA in high school and continued being active while his kids were in school and after through the FFA Alumni. In 1988, Dale and Rosalie were awarded the Norton Honorary FFA Chapter Degree. Dale had a passion for farming, but he really loved caring for his livestock. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Alma; wife, Rosalie and brothers, Dennis and Lonnie Schulze. He is survived by his sons: Brian Schulze of Norton and Brandon (Teresa) Schulze of Norton; daughter, Carey (Brian) Steinhauer of Sutton, NE; sister, Donna Molzahn of Agra, KS; brother-in-law, Gary Adrian of Colby; grandchildren: Adrian Follum, Tymerie and Shane Steinhauer, and Kadon Schulze and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Norton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm Tuesday, April 25, 2023, also at the funeral home.
