Carolyn L. Neeley, 82, died on January 29, 2024 at Rogue Valley Manor Care Suites in Medford, Oregon. She was born at Garden City, the daughter of Elmer A. & Theola I. (McLeish) Bryant. She married Larry H. Neeley on June 16, 1963 at Dighton.
Carolyn was a loving wife of 60 years and a mother who dedicated her life to her children and family. She enjoyed involvement in her community, showed kindness to everyone, and treasured her friendships. Carolyn attended Amy Grade School and graduated with the Class of 1959 at Dighton High School. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Colorado Women’s College in Denver in 1963. She and her husband farmed in Lane County before moving to Medford, Oregon in 2014. She was a member of the Dighton United Methodist Church and PEO Chapter GF of Dighton.
She is survived by her Husband- Larry Neeley, Son- Stephen B. Neeley (Lisa) of Dighton, Daughter- Michelle M. Eaton (Mark) of Medford, Oregon, Sister- Phyllis Burnett of Anaheim, California and 5 Grandchildren- Max Neeley, Mary Maxwell, Eric Maxwell, Thomas Eaton & Nicholas Eaton.
Funeral Service will be at 11:30 AM Tuesday, February 20 at at Dighton United Methodist Church with Rev A.G. Turner officiating. Burial will be in Dighton Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from Noon to 8:00 PM Monday at Boomhower Funeral Home in Dighton. Memorials are suggested to the United Methodist Church, Dighton, in care of Boomhower Funeral Home.
