Patricia Anne “Patti” Browning, 67, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, August 5, 2023 at her home in Holcomb, Kansas. She was born November 12, 1955 in Anthony, Kansas, the daughter of John and Alice (Cordes) Vierthaler.
Patti attended the local schools and graduated from Chaparral High School in 1973.
Patti loved music, and enjoyed traveling, and anything outdoors, especially gardening.
She is survived by her husband Roy of the home, two sons Derek and Amy Browning of Watertown, South Dakota, and Josh and Taney Browning of Scott City, Kansas, one daughter Sumer and Anthony Nichols of Plains, Kansas, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one grandson.
There will be no formal services held at this time.
The family asks that those of you who would like to do something in remembrance of Patti to please spend some time outside doing something you enjoy - take a walk, drink a beer, or go for a boat ride.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Finney County Humane Society both in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
