Jacob R. Lang, 40, of Wichita KS, passed away Thursday August 15, 2024 surrounded by loving family members. He was born August 13, 1984 in Wichita Ks. The son of Marissa Lang (Beilman) and Alan Lang.
Jacob, also known as Jake, was an avid sports lover. He played football 4th grade through high school. He graduated from Wichita Heights High School in 2003. He loved his Detroit Lions and Kansas City Royals. He made everyone laugh and his smile was contagious. He worked various jobs and made friends wherever he went. He always was willing to help anyone and had a heart of Gold.
Jacob was a loving father to 3 children. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his beloved dog Maggie. He is survived by his parents, his brother Chris Lang and wife Jessica. His sister Emily Viramontez (Lang) and brother in law Tyler. His 3 children, Kamryn, Kailey, and William. He is also survived by his 3 nieces, Cheyenne, Reagan and Adelyn and his nephew Cru, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services, a celebration of life, will be held Saturday August 24, 2024 at 1:00pm at Kechi cemetery in Kechi Kansas. In lieu of flowers, a memorial college fund has been established for his 3 children and can be sent to Stryv Bank: 6160 N. Broadway Wichita 67219. Please make checks payable to Marissa Lang. Following the celebration of his life at the Old school house in Kechi there will be a gathering for friends and family. Guests will need a wristband upon entering.
