Norton, KS resident, Mark Anthony Van Patten passed away August 19, 2022, at the Norton County Hospital at the age of 43.

He was born July 21, 1979, in Kearney, NE the son of Anthony and Rose (Anderson) Van Patten.&nbsp;

Survivors include his girlfriend Jessica Ebner and their two boys 
Brandon Mathew and Ashton Alexander of Norton, KS; his three daughters 
Khrissanna Marrie, Téa Marrie, and Serenity Rose Van Patten all of 
Norton, KS; two sept-daughters Rylie Linner and Karmyn Rutherford of 
Norton; step-son Gavin Rutherford of Norton; three grandchildren; two 
step-grandchildren; parents Anthony and Rose Van Patten of Almena, KS; 
brothers Mathew Van Patten and wife Hilary of Almena and Benjamin Van 
Patten of Phillipsburg; and his paternal grandfather David Van Patten of
 Almena, KS.

Cremation was planned.&nbsp; A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 26th,&nbsp; in the Norton Christian Church with Pastor Nate Hagen officiating.&nbsp; The
 services will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel 
Facebook page.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Mark Anthony Van Patten Children’s Fund.

Friends may sign the book for Mark on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, 1115 2nd Street, Phillipsburg, KS 67661.
