Zander Raye Rojas, died Friday January 13, 2023, in Garden City, Kansas. He was born September 29, 2004, in Garden City, Kansas, the son of Brandon Ray and Christie Lynn (Pearson) Rojas.

He grew up and attended schools in Garden City and was a Senior at Garden City Achieve Academy. He enjoyed golfing with his dad, cooking with his mom, and spending time with his sister, Morgan. They could talk for hours upon hours about everything and nothing He was loving and loyal to his girlfriend Yitzel. He always made her feel safe and could always cheer her up with his sense of humor.. He loved anything and everything baseball. He could catch and throw when he was still in diapers. His first at-bat in T-Ball flew high into center field. His family was amazed and he was upset the umpire wouldn’t let him run past first base. His hobbies as a young adult included skateboarding, and gaming with his friends. His siblings and cousins loved spending time with him. He cared deeply for people, always doing kind things and helping. He was incredibly smart, too smart for his own good. He had a quick wit and was always making people laugh with his sarcasm. He always cared for his grandma, Caverly, helping her out around the house after her surgery, in exchange for fried chicken and banana bread. As a young child his favorite person was his grandpa, Papa Jim. He later named him Papa Roy, no explanation behind the name change. He then re-named himself Little Roy and the two of them were inseparable. After Papa Roy passed away he was lucky enough to inherit his prized record collection. Listening to them brought back cherished memories. He shared a special bond with his Uncle Tyler. They just fit together. Uncle Tyler always made time for his Zander and their time together was like two souls healing each other. Family and Friends will hold his memories close when they miss his presence.

He is survived by his Mother-Christie Rojas and Sister-Morgan Alexis Cabral; Father-Brandon Rojas and Siblings-Jorden Rojas, Deago Rojas & Aria Tomlinson; Grandparents-Caverly (Keith) Rojas Wallace & Sheryl Pearson; Aunts & Uncles; Tyler Rojas, Carrie (Jared) Mitchell & Guille Hinde; & Cousins-Corben Davis, Timmy Rojas, Lexus Springsteen, Cariah Cedra, Tommy Cedra & Landyn Mitchell and other extended family.
