verna Marie Eby, 92, of Goodland, died Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Citizens Medical Center, in Colby. She was born April 10, 1931, in Herndon, KS, to Urban and Helen (Solko) Lippold. On September 20, 1949, she married George Fredrick Eby. They settled in Goodland, where she remained a lifelong resident.
Iverna was preceded in death by her parents; husband George; sister Betty Pickett; children, Rhonda Lovins and Stan Eby and grandchildren, Terry Steier and Cathy Deterding.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Steier, Nandy Anderson and Becky (Don) Luckert; sister Delphine (Richard) Dozbaba; 18 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen. A private family burial will take place at a later date in the Goodland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Iverna Eby Memorial Fund and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701. For information or condolences visit baalmannmortuary.com
