Timothy Leon Burbach, formerly of WaKeeney

Timothy Leon Burbach, formerly of WaKeeney, passed away on May 24, 2023 at Meridian Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wichita from the effects of Parkinson’s disease. He was born September 16,1952; Tim was 70 at the time of death.

Tim grew up on a farm by Collyer, attended grade school in Collyer and graduated from Trego Community High School. He earned a certificate in diesel mechanics in Denver. He worked as a mechanic, in the oil fields, and as a welder. He loved fishing, watching a good game of baseball and westerns. He was enjoyed with classic muscle cars and races.

He is preceded in death by both parents, Warren and Darlene Burbach. 

He is survived by two sons, Shawn Burbach, WaKeeney, and Trent Burbach of Neosho, Mo.; a sister, Sandra Burbach, Larned, and a brother Rick Burbach of Collyer; and several grand and great-grandchildren.

A family graveside memorial will be held at Union Cemetery in Collyer.
