Harlan Ray Vinson, 73, passed away January 28, 2024 at his daughter’s home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He was born January 22, 1951 in Great Bend, the son of Clyde and Madeline Hall Vinson.
A former area resident, he lived in Wichita where he was a machinist for Boeing; he also drove semi-trucks for many years. He graduated from Larned High School in 1969, was a Navy Veteran and spent four years in San Diego, California. He loved basketball and sports. He was a proud father to Rae and grandfather to Royce.
Survivors include: daughter, Rae (John) Graber, Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister, Bonnie (Richard) Olson; grandchild, Royce Graber; niece, Krystal Olson; two nephews, Keith and Kevin Olson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 at Garfield Cemetery, Garfield with Pastor Gerald Graber presiding. Inurnment in the Garfield Cemetery with military graveside rites.
