The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday reported 10 new COVID-19 cases in Ellis County had been identified since Monday.
As of Wednesday morning, there were 13 COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed, including five active cases and eight recovering cases.

The Kansas Hospital Organization reported last week that 54 percent of eligible Ellis County residents (5 and older) are fully vaccinated.
Since reporting began, there have been 7,095 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 80 coronavirus-related deaths.
