Grow&nbsp;Hays Inc. will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the Grow Hays MicroFactory at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ninth and Commerce Parkway in Hays. Lt. Gov. David Toland and local representatives will be in attendance.

“The Grow Hays MicroFactory will be an incubator for small and startup manufacturing companies" said Doug Williams, executive director of Grow Hays Inc. "The facility&nbsp;will be designed specifically to meet the needs of manufacturers with various&nbsp;amounts of space allocated to tenants as needed. Rental rates for the space will be well below market rates to ensure that these businesses have every opportunity to succeed and grow."

The project is being funded via grants and funding from the State of Kansas BASE Grant program, <a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/b37f8cb5-ca02-4a76-b372-231a57c726c2">The Patterson Family Foundation, </a>Heart of America Development Corporation, and the Northwest Kansas Economic Innovation Center.&nbsp;
