The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Monday reported 51 new COVID-19 cases in Ellis County had been identified since Wednesday.
Due to server maintenance, KDHE did not update case counts on Friday.
As of Monday morning, there were 23 COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed, including six active cases and 17 recovering cases.

The Kansas Hospital Organization reported Wednesday that 54 percent of eligible Ellis County residents (5 and older) are fully vaccinated.
Since reporting began, there have been 7,040 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 79 coronavirus-related deaths.
