The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday reported 32 new COVID-19 cases had been identified in Ellis County from Sept. 3 to 9. KDHE reports updated case numbers weekly on Wednesdays.
Ellis County is along several northwest Kansas counties in the high- or substantial-incidence classification (see map below).

Since reporting began, there have been 7,804 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County.
