KDOT
The Kansas Department of Transportation has started a field survey for a proposed project to replace the Beaver Creek bridge along K-9 in Smith County.
The bridge is located near the west city limits of Gaylord. Survey activities include the use of survey instruments on the ground to determine locations of existing features within the survey corridor. KDOT expects work to be complete by the end of November.
Crews will contact property owners or tenants for permission to enter private property if access is needed. Kara LaRiviere, project survey manager, will oversee the survey for KDOT.
