The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday reported one new COVID-19 case in Ellis County had been identified since Monday.

As of Wednesday morning, HaysMed reported five COVID inpatients, three active and two recovering.
Since reporting began, there have been 7,131 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 79 coronavirus-related deaths.
