The Larned Correctional Mental Health Facility has announced its outstanding employees of the fourth quarter for 2022 including contract employee Babe Breit, ARNP.
Breit began working for LCMHF’s health care provider as an APRN in 2017.
“Ms. Breit is a valuable asset to our medical team. She provides quality medical care to the patients we serve. She is mindful of security and best practices," her nomination read. "She is aware of her surroundings, and values the importance of providing necessary care, while ensuring the safe and secure environment. With many changes in the correctional environment and populations, Ms. Breit has always adjusted and adapted to what is expected of her. We are very appreciative of all the work that Ms. Breit does for us at LCMHF, especially now in the absence of a site Medical Director. She is always seeking knowledge, and when she has questions is not afraid to ask, therefore continuously growing as a solid medical provider. She has also been tasked with training the newly hired APRN for ECF."
