Oilers Cheerleading Registration is Open.
Since 2018, Oilers Cheerleading has been a youth organization in Hays.
They welcome all children, ranging from first through sixth grade.
These cheerleaders cheer for the Hays Oilers traveling football home games. In the Oilers Cheerleading Program, cheerleaders learn cheers, cheer counts, stunts, dances, jumps and performance material. Along with this, they will learn sharpness and motion techniques.
The Oilers Cheerleaders are known for their unique pom performances, ripples, sharpness, loudness, and fullness of high energy and spirit.
What makes the Oiler squad unique is that they are the only youth cheerleading organization in Hays that offers their cheerleaders the opportunity to cheer at football games. By doing this, your child will experience the fun of authentic cheerleading.
This year, their cheerleaders will host fundraisers, have a cheer camp with Hays High, cheer at games, participate in parades, and perform. The Oilers Cheerleaders are coached by Jenny Linenberger and Holly Linenberger.
They are looking forward to the season and are very excited for all that they have planned.
Registration closes Wednesday.

The first parent meeting will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hays Public Library in the gallery room. Feel free to join us and register that evening as well. If you have questions, call 785-259-5293.
