Community Foundation of Ellis
The Community Foundation of Ellis has exciting news to share. Now until the end of January 2024, donations to the Ellis Food Boxes and Pantry will be matched $1 for $1, up to $20,000 by generous donors Lee and Jackie Frickey.
With the growing need of the Ellis Food Boxes & Pantry this opportunity will ensure the local Ellis pantry will remain operating for those in need of a food box.
Your year-end contribution can make a lasting impact this holiday and in the future. The local pantry has scheduled monthly open pantry dates for those in need. Also, each December, families have the opportunity to sign up for a Christmas food box. Each open pantry provides variety of can goods, paper products, non-perishable items along with frozen meats and fresh fruits and/or vegetables and breads. The Foundation also provides a summer food program for students, “Food4KidsSummer! Food That’s In When School is Out!”
